Sir Per Gunnar Thorssen

Highly athletic and handsome park ranger Per Gunnar Thorssen hardly practiced at all for the Tournament (except for giving Gabriel da Gamba a few training sessions). Confident that his riding skills were up to scratch, and relying on his cat-like reflexes for strategy and swordplay, he did not expect any problems during the three-day competition.

Mind you, although we cannot approve of this casual attitude towards combat, we DO give him full credit for being the FIRST to order knitted chain mail from Knottwood's new blacksmith, Henry Glyndwyr...

Per's light chain mail hauberk was a work of Art!

Per gallantly Championed a visitor to Knottwood, the lovely Lady Maxime... Mysterious visitor Lady Maxime accepted Per as her Champion...

....which did not seem to bother current girlfriend Fleur at ALL... Girlfriend Fleur did not seem to care!

He spent his time pointedly IGNORING former girlfriend Varna Sorensen... Varna made a brief appearance with fiance Charles...

...but we DID catch him staring fondly at FORMER former girlfriend, Alicia! Wonder if he regrets breaking up with lovely Alicia?

Although he performed creditably in both the fighting and the joust, Per's overconfidence led to several nasty falls...

...several of which all seemed to end up with him whacking his tailbone!

REALLY, Katherine, don't LAUGH at the poor guy...

Fortunately, Doctor Megan had the PERFECT solution for that! Megan rushed forward with first aid supplies!

(Though it took girlfriend Fleur to persuade him to use it!) Fleur was MUCH more firm than Doctor Megan!

He turned up at the rather rowdy party at Noreen and Tamsins, after the Tournament... Injuries didn't stop Per from Partying!

...though everyone noticed he preferred to STAND! Per solved his pain problem by STANDING all the time!
