Highly athletic and handsome park ranger Per Gunnar Thorssen hardly practiced at all for the Tournament (except for
giving Gabriel da Gamba a few training sessions). Confident that his riding skills were up to scratch, and relying on his cat-like
reflexes for strategy and swordplay, he did not expect any problems during the three-day competition.
