Well, it all started one chilly spring evening. C.J. McLeod, Canadian part-cyborg policewoman, was out for a gentle hack with Cheryl Haney, who was rehabilitating Sandstorm (a recently rescued horse)...

C.J. was riding Lightning, a cheerful, calm gelding who has taught many a nervous Knottwooder to overcome their fear of horses!

And that's why, ten minutes later...
Uh... who picked the ROUTE?

Yes... away from Cheryl, C. J. seems much more nervous.
Ooops... looks STEEP...

Gradually, however, she began to ENJOY herself...

Yes, folks... I'm afraid C. J. broke the cardinal rule of riding - "Always pay ATTENTION to your surroundings..."
