Not everyone made it to the Fifth Annual Knottwood Christmas Party. Some, like the Glyndwyrs, the Dimple Twins and Bill Beasley, were visiting family elsewhere in (or out of) the country. Some, like Dr. David Wong and Nurse Cindy Barczynska, unfortunately had to WORK. And ONE poor fellow actually had the FLU...

The Asmundsens had checked into Knottwood Castle's Rose Room hoping for a quiet and romantic Christmas... Alas... it was Not To Be!

Catriona leaves, and the room falls into silence. There is nothing to do but listen to the CLOCK tick... Good idea...

Several hours LATER... Don't SHOUT, Catriona!*

And to think Charles was hoping for some chicken noodle soup!

After hastily leaving to change into more comfortable clothes, Catriona joins the rest of her family at the PARTY, now in full swing downstairs... What a lovely Party!

Meanwhile, all alone UPSTAIRS, Charlie lethargically opens his presents... How THRILLING!

His second present seems no more exciting than the FIRST! What WAS she *thinking!*

Charlie is still thinking about Avalon as he falls asleep... Awww... sleepin' like a BABY...

He wakes abruptly to find the room bathed in an eerie GLOW... Ooo, spooky...

It is his beloved wife, Catriona, but she looks... different That's not NORMAL...

Charles stumbles blindly AFTER her... Oooh, I don't LIKE this...

The cold, dark passages blur into a confusing labyrinth of corridors. Charles falls farther and farther behind... The light's gone OUT!
